The 2010 Worldwide Mr. Gay Delegates have been invited to visit the Norwegian Parliament Stortinget.
When in Oslo, Norway, the Delegates of Worldwide Mr. Gay will be taken on a private tour around Parliament, they will be talking to several members of the Parliament and been able to meet MPs who supported the Norwegian gender-neutral marriage law.
- The Worldwide Mr. Gay organization is both humble and happy that the Norwegian MPs take their time to meet with the Delegates.
Many of the Delegates comes from countries were the relationship between the gay community and the political authorities is really bad.
We hope the MPs and the Delegates can exchange experiences, thoughts and ideas – the Delegates get some information on how we have done things in Norway, and the politicians might even broaden their knowledge and understanding on what gay rights is all about, says Executive Producer Tore Aasheim.
The Delegates will visit Stortinget at Thursday, February 11, at 4 PM. The meeting will be open to the press.
